Shopping Centre Council of Australia Marketing Awards – Brand & Partnerships: Recognises campaigns that elevate a centre’s brand through strategic partnerships, delivering measurable value for both the centre and its collaborators

For one week in March, Melbourne Quarter transformed into Melbourne’s most talked-about foodie hotspot. In collaboration with the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, Copenhagen’s Hart Bageri served its cult cardamom buns and exclusive creations from a vacant pavilion, attracting over 2,500 visitors from across the country. Lines snaked around the precinct, media dubbed it the “hit of the festival”, and social platforms exploded with user-generated content.

This recognition celebrates the innovative use of modular steel framing and off-site construction techniques that enable safe, efficient delivery of Melbourne Quarter Tower's striking pitched roof and plantroom structures. The award highlights the collaborative effort of ArcStructural, Lendlease, Woods Bagot, AECOM, and partners in overcoming the complexities of building at height while achieving excellence in design, safety, and sustainability.

The award celebrates the innovative design of Melbourne Quarter Tower's Sargon, from Project Architect and Design Lead, Christina Kotsiris. The kiosk redefines the concept of a lobby café by seamlessly blending elegance, functionality, and sustainability - supporting local craftsmanship, energy-efficient systems, and a 6 Star Green Star target for the building.
